The Ask

Sling TV 2024

The challenge was to develop two to three standalone, full-funnel campaign concepts for the launch of Sling TV's new Rewards program. The primary objective was to educate users on how they could start earning cash for watching the TV they love, driving awareness and engagement across different audience segments.

The campaigns needed to effectively communicate the benefits of Rewards, showing the ease and excitement of accumulating cash just by enjoying their favorite shows. Each concept required a cohesive strategy that spanned the customer journey, from building initial awareness to driving conversions, while also creating a sense of excitement and value for current and potential Sling users.

The Process

For this project, we kept the design simple so that the focus was on the winners' joyful and surprised expressions. This created an emotional bond, while the bold text highlighted the straightforwardness of the Rewards program, emphasizing that anyone can win big with Sling TV. To communicate this effectively, we created AI-generated user personas representing a wide range of Sling TV's audience. These personas were shown through bold typography and lively visuals. We also used existing Rewards graphics (like tickets and coins) in the campaign to maintain brand consistency while adding a fresh look.

The Result

The Sling TV Rewards campaign was very successful in engaging audiences and satisfying clients. Leaders appreciated that it met goals and made the Sling brand more relatable and rewarding for viewers. User interaction with the Rewards program increased, leading to more sign-ups and engagement. Sling executives praised the creative execution for effectively combining existing assets with new design.
